Manchester United entered the race to sign Bakayoko last week with Chelsea fans fearing another hijack after the Red Devils leaped in front of the Blues to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Conte wants the deal wrapped up by Monday before the club takes off to China and Singapore for their pre-season tour where they will face Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
The report claims that Chelsea hesitated on the Bakayoko pursuit after the midfielder had a routine knee surgery this summer to sort a niggling injury and is expected to only be fit in September.
Conte still wants the deal to go through as he is prepared to allow Serbian Nemanja Matic leave the club with Manchester United lurking.
