Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte has sent panic to the mind of lots of Blues fans by admitting that he doesn’t know when Eden Hazard will return to action for the Premier League Champions.
The Italian tactician has refused to reveal a date on when the forward will be back to his best this season, Hazard missed the start of the season due to an ankle injury as he continues his recovery from surgery.RELATED: Conte sends message to Chelsea fans about Belgian attacker
Hazard went under the knife back at the start of the summer after suffering an ankle fracture while on international duty with Belgium at the end of last season.
The Belgian international will be hoping to make his return to action in the coming weeks, he has been working hard on his fitness level at the Chelsea’s Cobham training base.
However, Conte has admitted that he cannot yet be sure when Hazard will make his return to action for the west London club.
When asked about Hazard, Conte replied: “It’s difficult to give a time or a date. Difficult, difficult.”
The Belgian international was instrumental to Chelsea last season dominance in England, he was one of Chelsea’s key players last season as he helped the Blues win the Premier League title in Conte’s first campaign in charge at the west London club.
The Blues are now preparing for a return to the Champions League this season after missing out on a spot the last term.
