Conte was installed as Inter Milan manager and he is ready to launch on the Real Madrid playmaker who is on loan at Stamford Bridge.
The former Chelsea manager is out to scupper the Blues move to retain the services of Mateo Kovacic who is on loan from Real Madrid as he aimed to sign the Croat for his new club Inter Milan.

The former Inter Milan midfielder has impressed at the Stamford Bridge and Chelsea is keen of making his move permanent and Real Madrid is open to any deal for the midfielder in order to finance the move for their proposed targets this summer.
However, Tuttosport says Conte is also interested and has urged his new employers to move for the midfielder.
Kovacic is a former Inter player and the prospect of returning to Milan does hold some appeal.
Significantly, Conte can offer Kovacic a guaranteed start - something both Chelsea and Real Madrid are unwilling to do, such proposal which will entice the energetic midfielder.
