James Rodriguez was the star performer as a rampant Real Madrid side secured  a 3-0 lead in their Copa del Rey last-16 tie against Sevilla on Wednesday.

Widely touted for a January exit from Real, Rodriguez was keen to prove his worth having been given a chance by Coach Zinedine Zidane.

The Colombian made the most of Wednesday's chance as First he scored from distance after Casemiro had robbed Sevilla. Just before half-time he rolled in a penalty after Madrid were given an extremely fortunate penalty.
