Paris Saint Germain demolished Rennes 6-1 at  Roazhon Park to go through to next round of Coupe de France on Sunday night 

Kylian Mbappe opens the floodgate goals with Neymar and Angel Di Maria scored twice before France international round it up in the seven goals thrillers. 

First Half 

The first chance of the game goes to Mbappe as he misses a sitter, sending his close-range effort over the bar and two minutes later France international didn't miss a second time to make it 1-0 for PSG.

Lo Celso Giovani makes a fine run before taking a nice shot and Rennes keeper Diallo make a great save, minutes later PSG play a lovely team interplay and a typically brilliant finish from Neymar to make 2-0.

Neymar almost gets his second with effort hit off the post it would have been another brilliant goal from the Brazilian and Ángel Di María joins the scoring party as Yuri Berchiche threads a through ball to the far post, where Argentina slots it past Diallo to make 3-0 after 23 minutes.

Rennes goalkeeper Diallo continues to have a hectic night as he makes a kick save to deny Mbappe at the near post. Neymar makes it 4-0 following a fast break and Mbappe set up the Brazilian superstar puts the finishing touches on a perfectly-executed counterattack.

Second Half 

PSG keeper Trapp makes his first save of the night to deny Mubele a few minutes later Mubele almost pulls one back for Rennes as the dethroned Ligue 1 was lucky.

Draxler almost scores seconds after entering the match but shoots weakly inside the 6-yard box.

A fine reflex save from PSG's keeper Trapp to deny Rennes star Maouassa a minute later the center referee awarded a penalty to Rennes as Thiago Motta called for a hand ball inside the box.

Bourigeaud scores from the spot for Rennes to reduced the deficit.

The Brazilian is denied once again by the woodwork, this time off a free kick before Di María has a brace of his own thanks to a perfect left-footed finish to make it 5-1.

Mbappe gets a brace of his own as well, finishing off another fantastic team play to make 6-1 in the 76 minutes of the tie.

Neymar flirts with the hat-trick with a free kick that's just barely over the bar.
