Nigerian billionaire of Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola have promised the Super Eagles mouth-watering bonus for each goal scored in their remaining games at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The two business moguls said they will donate $50,000 and $25,000 respectively for each goal scored in their semi-final game against Desert Foxes at Cairo International Stadium on Sunday after President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick put a call through to the two well-known philanthropists and tasked them to commit to supporting the team.

"Aliko has told me that for every goal you score, you score 10 goals and you get $500,000, you score one you get $50,000.

"Femi Otedola too. I called him and he said $25,000 for every goal scored.

"So, whether reply or no reply, you just keep scoring and that’s what you will do.

"And there is going to be more and more coming, that I can tell you for free,” said Pinnick in a meeting with the team.

It would be recalled that Aiteo Group, one the major sponsors of the Super Eagles gave the team $75, 000 for the three goals scored in their 3-2 win against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon

Nigeria is in the hunt for their first Africa Cup of Nations trophy since 2013 and is expected to fight for the right to this year’s final in Cairo, Egypt.
