Borussia Dortmund have moved swiftly to fill the void created by the big money move of Ousmane Dembele from the club away to Barcelona.
The Bundesliga giants have confirmed that they have signed Andriy Yarmolenko from Dynamo Kiev.
The Ukraine winger, 27, has arrived for a fee understood to be in a region of £23million and penned a four-year deal.
The Bundesliga side were
in need of firepower after selling Dembele to Barcelona for £138m.
And they have replaced the France international with a wideman
who was linked with a move to the Prem in January.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said: “Andriy is a player we have been pursuing for a long time and who is on top
level both at club level and in the service of the Ukrainian national team for football.”
The player added: “I am very grateful that Dynamo Kiev has fulfilled my dream of being able to switch to a big European club!
“I will work hard in every training to help BVB achieve its highest goals – that’s what I always do.”
