Borussia Dortmund have sent a message to Chelsea over 70 million pounds-rated star Christian Pulisic after the club sporting director Michael Zorc ruled out the possibility of selling the player in the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old forward reports claimed last week that the Blues have beaten Premier League rivals of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspurs, Arsenal and Manchester United to win the race to sign United State of America international.

Chelsea keen on bringing Pulisic to Stamford Bridge in the region of £70 million after netted three times and contributed four assists in 12 appearances for his Bundesliga league leader with the perennial champions sees American born as the air apparent to succeed Eden Hazard if the Belgium skipper eventually leaves the West London outfit in the future.

However, in an interview with Germany outlet Kicker, Zorc denied claims that the Blues would complete a €80m swoop for the 20-year-old in the upcoming transfer window and said: "We have known these rumours for many year. We plan at least until the end of the season with him. Pulisic will not leave BVB in winter."

Pulisic lived in England for a year at the age of seven, turning out for the youth team of Brackley Town before returning to the United States.
