Dutch legend Ruud Gullit has blasted Liverpool new signing Virgil van Dijk, according to reports.Van Dijk completed his move to Liverpool from Southampton in a world record fee of £75m making him the most expensive defender in history, he was subsequently celebrated by Liverpool fans after his match-winning debut against Everton in the FA Cup. But Gullit, who worked with Van Dijk as Holland assistant coach, says the defender can let his ego get him in trouble. He explained to Ziggo Sports: "I think he is a very good defender, but he has one pitfall: he is occasionally a little nonchalant. So he thinks he is better than he is."If he stays 100 percent focused and quietly responds to his on-field challenges, then I think he's a top defender."Van Dijk is expected to feature against the Premier League leaders Manchester City on Sunday at the Anfield in their next league game.
