Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu is over the moon after getting on the score sheet and helping his Israeli outfit Hapoel Be'er Sheva to an away 3-2 win against Hungarian club Honvéd during Wednesday's UEFA Champions League second round qualifiers.
Goals from Ogu and his compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme secured the Israeli champions a hard fought 3-2 win over the Erik van der Meer led Honvéd side.
The former Academica enforcer who joined Be'er Sheva in 2014 took to Twitter, saying: "Great result tonight .Happy to have bin on the scoresheet .Onto the next round against Ludogoret. Thanks to our fans for the support!."
Ogu opened scoring for the visitors before Nwakaeme added a second but the home side responded with a first half added time goal before drawing level in the final 17 minutes.
Nwakaeme left it late with a 84th minute winner to dump out their host from the race for a UCL group stage spot as the Nigerians progressed to the third round of the competition.
