Nigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike has arrived Athens, the Gree capital ahead of a move to Olympiacos.

The 30-year old is expected to sign a two-year contract believed to be worth two million Euros, and will have the option for an additional year should things go according to plan.

Already, Fenerbahce have  agreed a fee of €2.5million with Olympiacos for the transfer of the former Nigeria international.

There is a highly level of expectations from the footballing public in Greece, as they await what the Nigerian will offer Olympiacos, who have also recently had another Nigerian – Brown Ideye – on their books, before he made the switch to China.

The local sports papers have given prominence and space to the transfer of the 30-year-old Nigeria striker, who struggled for game time in Turkey last season.

Meanwhile, former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has tipped Emenike to be a smash hit at the perennial Greek champions if he is properly handled both on and off the pitch.
