Enyeama lauds Women’s Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala


Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has lauded Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala after she emerged the 2016 CAF Women’s Player of the Year.

The 22-year-old Arsenal star had a brilliant 2016 which his capped with the topscorer title when she led Nigeria’s attack to win the African Women’s Championship for a record eighth time.

“Proud of you @AsisatOshoala seated next to each other when you did it the first time. Congratulations hero. Praying to see you do the next one,” the Lille goalkeeper wrote on his official twitter handle:

The Super Falcons also voted Women’s Team of the Year beating off competition from Cameroon and SouthAfrica.
