NPFL: Rangers maintain unbeaten run in Jos

The Nigeria Professional Football League will go on a one-month break by June 2 for the World Cup, it has been revealed.

The World Cup kicks off from June 14 in Russia with Nigeria in attendance, and the league will go on break from the second of next month, even if only one player from the NPFL will almost certainly make the final squad to the competition.

The NPFL season is in week 20.

Nigeria will feature at the World Cup and they are drawn in Group D along with Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.

They open their campaign on June 16 against Croatia.
