The sterling performances of Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has earned him a place in the Best XI for the Europa League Group Stages.

Ndidi is named in the four-man midfield alongside Manchester United's record signing Paul Pogba as well as his Genk teammate Leon Baily and Amin Younes from Ajax.

Ndidi's inclusion was predictable having been rated top in his position with the most tackles and interceptions.

The Nigeria international has played a vital role in his Belgian club's progression into the round of 32 of the Europa League.

Indeed, the world's most expensive player at £89 million Pogba has also been brilliant in Europe's second-tier competition despite he and his club's struggles in the Premier League.
