English Premier League side, Everton are reportedly the latest club to join in the race to sign Nigerian star, Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City ahead of the summer transfer window which is set to open for business in the coming weeks.

As reported by UK Tabloid, The Sun claims, the Toffees are ready to cough out as much as  £20 million as summer bid for the Nigeria international who is been touted as a possible replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who is on the wishlist of Chelsea and Manchester United.

The future of Kelechi Iheanacho at Man City is not certain after falling down manager Pep Guardiola's pecking order of strikers and there are talks of more players still be eyed to make City stronger for next season.

Before now, German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund have already expressed an interest in the young forward who was tipped for the top by former City boss Manuel Pellegrini and has scored 21 goals for City despite making only 20 starts.

Though there is likely to be Premier League interest in Iheanacho, Dortmund are likely to be able to offer Champions League football next season and the chance to play with star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if he stays at the club.

And the Daily Mail say Manchester City are likely to ask close to £20million for a player they signed in 2014 from the Taye Academy in Nigeria and who is under contract until 2021.
