Former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Motta has revealed the changes in Lionel Messi’s game and compares the Argentine superstar to Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.
According to the report in Marca, the midfielder was of the view that Messi used to rely solely on his ability to find his way through on the pitch but in recent times he has turned himself into a team player that plays with his teammates.

"Messi is instinctive and he has managed to fulfil his dream and be the phenomenon that he is," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He has an innate talent and has known how to adapt to changes because the league has evolved.
"He started more as an individual and now relies on his colleagues to make the difference.
Motta also spoke about the qualities of Juventus forward Ronaldo and Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar.
"Neymar has the ability to protect the ball so that rivals don't steal it and with his technique and physical power he makes the difference.
"[Cristiano Ronaldo] is a unique player, who lives and breathes for being the best in the world.”
Motta is currently the coach of Paris Saint-Germain under-19, he retired last summer from PSG.
