Ex-England star urges Spurs to sign Man United target Ndidi

Former England and Premier League midfielder Jermaine Jenas have urged Tottenham Hotspurs to sign Manchester United transfer target Wilfred Ndidi in the summer.

The Champions League finalist are on the hunt for central midfielders, as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add depth to his squad after Mousa Dembele the North London club in January and they have left themselves short in midfield.

However, BBC pundit wants his former club Tottenham to move for 22-year-old Super Eagles star because he has one of the players who can fit into the top six teams in the league and Jenas believes that Leicester City will struggle to retain the services of Ndidi following his impressive season with the Foxes that saw him names in the Premier League young team of the season.

Jenas told "I can see Leicester getting attacked at some point this year. Ndidi has had a good season. In line with Doucoure at Watford. These are the midfielders that Spurs, Manchester United could do with.
