Former Real Madrid General Manager Jorge Valdano has weighed Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen’s option in the midfielder of Real Madrid.
Valdano believes Eriksen is way better than Pogba, the ex-Argentine international questioned the move for the World Cup-winning star.
Pogba is a €100m-plus target for Real Madrid this summer as the European Champions look to bolster their creativity in the midfield.

But Valdano rates Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen ahead of Pogba and told El Transistor: "Pogba I like but I'm not enthusiastic, I do not think he's comparable to Eriksen because of his way of playing, Pogba has always left me wondering if he plays football with enough passion.
"Real Madrid need quality up front, they must increase their danger when they have the ball, and those are players like Eriksen or (Chelsea attacker Eden) Hazard.”
Valdano also emphasized on the importance of high profile players, "They have to bring names this summer to Real Madrid that give a leap in quality and a leap in passion.
"This summer will be very long.
"The Real Madrid players know that now they are being scrutinized by a coach who in the summer will have a voice to build the future."
Real Madrid is expected to sell some keys players during the transfers to create space for the potential new signings that would arrive.
