Three highly-rated Super Eagles stars are expected in action on Sunday as Leicester City battle Chelsea for a place in Wembley in the semi-final of the Emirates Cup.

The duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, as well as their other Leicester City teammates, are eyeing their first FA Cup semi-final appearance since 1981/82.

Only days after crashing out of the Champions League, Chelsea finds themselves back in action. Conte’s men will travel to Leicester with the aim of making the FA Cup semi-final.

Hoping to bounce back from Wednesday’s 3-0 loss at Barcelona, the Italian boss will likely name a strong starting eleven.

This is the only silverware the Blues can win – the same goes for the Foxes.

The London giant will be without both David Luiz and Ross Barkley who are out with ankle and hamstring injuries, respectively.

Willy Caballero could start in goal after Courtois’ disappointing display at Camp; however, Conte could name a similar lineup to the midweek loss.

Aleksander Dragovic, Christian Fuchs, Matty James and Marc Albrighton could all feature for the home side.

Iheanacho may start on Sunday, but both Robert Huth and Daniel Amartey are sidelined with injuries.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has called on his players to be watchful of Iheanacho ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final tie on Sunday at the King Power Stadium.

Conte warned his players not to let their guards down because either Iheanacho or Jamie Vardy is expected to start for the Foxes on Sunday.

Iheanacho has never scored against Chelsea in the FA Cup, League Cup and Premier League.

His only goal against the Blues was three years ago when he was still with Manchester City’s U-18 team in the final of the FA Youth Cup.

Conte told Chelsea’s website on Friday that all Leicester strikers were dangerous and needed to be watched to avoid losing the tie.

He said, “Special plans? Our special plan is to try to defend well. For sure we know about (Jamie) Vardy’s characteristics. He is a clever player. He is very good at attacking space and finding the right time to do. We must also pay great attention if they decide to play with (Kelechi) Iheanacho or (Shinji) Okazaki.

“It won’t be easy. Leicester are a good team, a team who won the (Premier League) title two years ago.

In their squad, they have many talented players with good qualities. They want to fight a lot. In the game we played against them at home we suffered a lot because they put a lot of pressure on and they ran a lot.”
