Hello football fans as we gear up for the games this weekend, FCNaija have compiled betting tips across the top major Leagues. Who is excited already?

Without further ado, take a view at our top 10 weekend Betting Tips in the GALLERY below:

1, Middlesbrough vs Aston Villa

The pinnacle of the EFL Championship season has arrived and the playoffs are here and this changes the game completely. Each team will be playing to their best with passion and determination to book their place in the English Premier League next season.

Middlesbrough are looking to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt as They waited seven seasons for promotion after their last relegation but may be returning much faster this time.

Aston Villa had been Premier League ever-presents and will be desperate to get back to English football’s top table after two seasons away.

The two managers both know how to get a side up. Steve Bruce has achieved four promotions as a manager, including winning the 2016 play off final with Hull, and Tony Pulis is looking to achieve his fourth promotion.

Form under Pulis did improve with nine wins from their last 13 matches meant they made it into the playoffs, just three points ahead of 7th place Preston.

Middlesbrough doesn’t score many goals though, finding the back of the net only 67 times in 46 league games, less than anybody else who finished in the top 6.

After three games they were in the relegation zone but form dramatically improved and they haven’t been out of the top six since December 31, 2017. Only two of Villa’s 11 league defeats came at Villa Park, giving them the best home record in the division.

These two have already met three times this season as they drew 0-0 at Villa Park in September and Robert Snodgrass scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win for Villa at the Riverside just before the turn of the year.

Although, Middlesbrough did knock Villa out of the Carabao Cup at the third round stage.

FCNaija Verdict: Boro 1-0 Aston Villa or Draw 0-0 at halftime.

2, Real Betis vs Sevilla

This weekend’s Seville derby offers the city’s usual underdogs, Real Betis, the chance to ensure they will finish a La Liga season ahead of their city rivals for the first time since the 2012/13 campaign.

A point here would also guarantee Betis a place in next season’s Europa League group stages. The home side are in an excellent position having won seven of eight prior to last weekend’s loss to Athletic Bilbao.

That run was fuelled by some of Betis’ best defensive displays of the season. First and second choice goalkeepers Adan and Giminez combined for five consecutive clean sheets, securing a European place with games to spare.

Sevilla seemed to have rediscovered their goalscoring touch during their important midweek victory over Real Madrid. That fixture was the only time in ten games Sevilla have outscored their expected goals total, however, this was aided by a fortunate Sergio Ramos own goal.

It is no coincidence that run included seven consecutive games without a victory. No team in La Liga has been as wasteful in front of goal according to the statistics. Betis will hope that Wednesday’s victory doesn’t indicate a return to form for Wissam Ben Yedder and the Sevilla attack players.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in three of the last five games between the sides and, if January’s 5-3 Betis victory is any indication, there should be goals in this fixture.

FCNaija Verdict: Real Betis 2-1 Sevilla or Over 2.5

3, Hoffenheim vs Borussia Dortmund

The biggest match of the day in Bundesliga sees Hoffenheim welcome Borussia Dortmund to the WIRSOL Rhein Neckar Arena on Saturday with both teams are in the top four for Champions League place.

Hoffenheim’s stunning nine-game unbeaten run came to a conclusion following the 2-0 defeat against Stuttgart at the Mercedes Benz Arena last weekend.

This result had serious implications on Hoffenheim’s potential to finish in the Champions League places, as Bayer Leverkusen were able to move level on points.

Borussia Dortmund’s hopes of a second-place finish took a major blow during the weekend as the team lost 2-1 against Mainz 05 at home. A point will be enough for third place Borussia Dortmund but Hoffenheim needs a win to guarantee the top four.

The earlier meeting between Dortmund and Hoffenheim produced a 2-1 win for the former at Westfalenstadion despite being reduced to 10 men but BVB were able to claim a 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim in the last meeting at the Rhein Neckar Arena.

FCNaija Verdict: Hoffenheim 1-1 Borussia Dortmund or GG.

4, Monaco vs Saint-Etienne

Monaco are right in the middle of a battle to qualify for the Champions League ahead of their game against St Etienne and there is much at stake with rivals Lyon a point above going into the final two matches of the season.

The dethroned Ligue 1 Champions need the three points on Saturday encounter Stade de Louis II because are Marseille are just one point behind Monaco with last space for next season UEFA Champions League.

Monaco’s 2-1 away win against Caen was welcomed with open arms given their recent poor form, before the Caen win they had not won a game for almost a month.

St Etienne has involved in a titanic battle themselves for 5th position and a Europa League place as they are in 6th and just two points behind Rennes.

The club were in great form which included 3 wins in a row before they lost against Bordeaux last weekend and this was quite a blow to their European chances next season. But they have another chance, the bad news it’s against a top side like Monaco.

St Etienne’s away form is excellent and they come into this game having won their last 3 matches in a row. They have also drawn to Lyon 1-1 and proved a tough team to beat over the past few weeks.

Monaco have scored 6 goals in their last two meetings against St Etienne with The Green have not beaten Monaco in four years and they have not won at Stade Louis II for 8 years in a row.

FCNaija Verdict: Monaco 2-1 Saint-Etienne or Half Time win for home team.

5, Atalanta vs AC Milan

Atalanta and AC Milan will be facing each other at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Saturday evening, with both sides looking to seal their place in the Europa League next season.

Atalanta only registered a 1-1 away draw at Udinese last weekend, despite the fact that they took the lead in the 41st minute through Bryan Cristante. Meanwhile, AC Milan were thrashed 1-4 at home by Roma, with their consolation goal being scored by Mario Pasalic in the 76th minute.

Atalanta should be able to grab all three points in this one, as they have only lost once in their last 15 home fixtures across all competitions while winning eleven in this term.

AC Milan had the chance to secure European football in midweek, as they took on Juventus in the Coppa Italia final as the Serie A leaders thumping the Rossoneri 4-0 to dashed their hopes of silverware.

Atalanta have won two of their last three home meetings with AC Milan in the Serie A, scoring two goals in both of these. while The Rossoneri have lost twice away to sides below them, while their only loss in nine away league games was at Juventus.

FCNaija Verdict: Atalanta 2-2 or Over 2.5

6, Roma vs Juventus

Roma welcome Juventus to Stadio Olimpico with a lot on the line for both teams, a win for the hosts would secure their spot in next season’s Champions League whilst a point or more for Old Lady would seal a seventh consecutive Serie A title.

Giallorossi is the inform team having won four consecutive matches in the lead up to this game as Roma possess a four-point lead over fifth-place Inter Milan in the race for the top four.

Juventus have recovered from a shock draw against Crotone followed by defeat at home to Napoli with wins in their two most recent matches. The Juventus defence has once again been formidable this season and will hope to keep an occasionally misfiring Roma attack quiet.

Juventus have had problems over the last two seasons against Roma, as they’ve come away pointless from their last two visits here, losing 3-1 and 2-1.

Roma have netted at least twice in three of their last four league matches, with one of this finishing with the same 2-1 scoreline. The visitors will still be tough to put away whatever the circumstances, with all of their three losses this season coming by just a single goal deficit, and another 2-1 is worth a punt.

FCNaija Verdict: Roma 1-1 or Under 3.5

7, Huddersfield Town vs Arsenal

Huddersfield welcome Arsene Wenger one last time in the Premier League before the legendary manager takes in charge of Arsenal for the last time.

David Wagner allowed the players to cancel their flight after Wednesday's result, meaning the squad could travel back by coach as part of a 48-hour window of downtime after extending their stay in the division for at least another season.

Huddersfield will be no pushovers after securing away draws at both Manchester City and Chelsea to seal survival with one game to spare.

Wenger is bowing out this summer after 22 years in charge of the north London club, but there will be no perfect farewell as Arsenal sit sixth in the Premier League table and trophyless.

Arsenal will be determined to send Wenger off in style, though they are yet to pick up a single League point on the road in 2018 and this could add significance of this game and some extra motivation for the visitors.

FCNaija Verdict: Huddersfield 1-2 Arsenal or Over 1.5

8, Swansea vs Southampton

Swansea City are still alive in the Premier League, but only just, as they welcome Stoke City on the final day of the season at the Liberty Stadium.

Tuesday's loss to Southampton leaves the Swans odds-on favorites to join the Potters and West Brom in the Championship next season.

After Huddersfield held Chelsea to a draw, it's down to just Southampton or Swansea and Carlos Carvalhal's team must make up a 10-goal swing as Saints host Manchester City.

Fortunately for them, if a big win is to come from anywhere it’s at home to Stoke. The Potters have already been relegated from the top flight after a dismal campaign, with a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend making it 13 games without a win in the league.

Away from home, The Potters haven’t won since October, and that 1-0 triumph over Watford is their only three-point haul of the season on the road.

Swansea may need to go all out for the win, but to be honest they simply seem incapable of getting the job done at the moment.

Seven of their last nine home league games have ended with fewer than three goals being scored, and the sole reason that Stoke’s record isn’t similar is that of their defensive calamities against the clubs in the top half of the table.

FCNaija Verdict: Swansea 1-1 Stoke or Under 2.5

9, Newcastle vs Chelsea

Chelsea's Champions League qualification hopes are hanging by a thread as they travel to Newcastle United on the final day of the 2017-18 Premier League season.

A 1-1 home draw against Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night leaves Chelsea with it all to do as Liverpool (fourth) sit two points ahead of Antonio Conte's men with one game to go.

Only a win will see Chelsea finish in the top four, while anything but a defeat for Liverpool will ensure the Blues have to settle for Europa League football next season.

FCNaija Verdict: Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

10, Southampton vs Manchester City

Southampton are within touching distance of Premier League survival as they host champions Manchester City on the final day of the season.

The Saints secured a key 1-0 away win against fellow relegation rivals Swansea City in midweek, leaving themselves 17th - and three points clear of the drop zone - with one match left to play.

A point would guarantee safety for another season, but unfortunately for Mark Hughes' side, their last match is against Pep Guardiola's record-breaking City side.

But given Southampton's +9 goal difference over Swansea (effectively +10 given goals scored), it would take a huge home defeat coupled with a big win for the Swans to see the south coast club relegated.

FCNaija Verdict: Saint 1-3 Man City
