Football fans have attacked Nollywood veteran, Uche Jombo on Twitter after the Manchester United fan dropped his thoughts on Real Madrid vs Juventus Champions League quarter-final clash on Wednesday.

The actress has gone to Twitter to comment that "Juventus were rubbed" in the showdown that ended in a 3-1 scoreline, 4-3 in aggregate which furrowed the brows of many football fans who disagreed with her statement.

A penalty was awarded against Juventus in the last-minute of the showdown. A Buffon protest led to a red card before Ronaldo's strike resulted in a late goal.

Fans jumped on the actor's Twitter page to argue that the penalty against Juventus was worthwhile but the football lover cleared the air that she was referring to the red card instead.

Uche Jombo went on to address the fans that she was actually talking about the red card and not the penalty. She opined that a yellow card call for Buffon would have been better.

She as well got angered at why people take football matters too seriously to the point of insulting her on her timeline.
