Ujah made his first Bundesliga appearance during his first spell with Opel Arena on August 13, 2011, against SC Freiburg after coming from Norwegian league before getting his first goal for Mainz in a 3–1 victory over VfB Stuttgart on 4 November.
The former Liaoning Whowin striker finished the 2011-2012 season with 12 appearances to his name, scoring two goals.
Ujah has since gone to make 36 Bundesliga appearances for Mainz and played 32 games each for his previous clubs of Cologne and Werder Bremen in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 season respectively.
Former Super Eagles star Jonathan Akpoborie is the Nigerian with the most appearances in the Bundesliga with 144, and former Abuja FC and Warri Wolves striker needs 44 games to could break that record.
