Fulham 0-3 Tottenham: Kane’s hat-trick down Cottagers

Harry Kane was in blistering form for Tottenham Horspur as he grabbed a hat-trick in the 3-0 win against Fulham in the FA Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino named a very strong team as Harry Kane, Dele Alli, and Son the front three. Slavisa Jokanovic also put forward a very strong Fulham XI with highly rated 16-year-old Ryan Sessegnon benched.

The visitors had the first chance of the encounter as Alli and Kane combined to setup Christian Eriksen but his shot was saved by Malone but it needed defender Bettinelli to finally clear the spilled shot away from goal.

Spurs soon took the lead as Eriksen turned provider when his cross was turned in by Kane for the opening goal of the encounter. The premier league title contenders dominated the first half but could not add more goals.

Six minutes into the second half, Tottenham Hotspur doubled their lead as Kane again turned in another fantastic cross from Christian Eriksen to the disappointment of fans inside the Craven Cottage.

At the other end, the home side tried to get back into the game as McDonald attacks the ball from a corner, getting in of Victor Wanyama, but failed keep his header down.

Spurs killed off the game with a third goal and it was their topscorer, Kane on show again. He picked up a simple pass from Dele Alli and slotted pass the goalkeeper with ease.

Tottenham Hotspur have now qualified for the last eight of the FA Cup and the quarter final draws will be made later this evening.
