Guangzhou Evergrande has denied the deal of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports.

Aubameyang is reported to have agreed on a deal to move to Guangzhou but the deal has not materialized.

It was reported on Saturday that Guangzhou has beaten Guoan to the Gabonese forward with a transfer fee of €72 million and the transfer to be effected at the end of the Bundesliga season.

Wenger not interested in Aubameyang's move to Arsenal

The speculation about the future of the Bundesliga star is expected to continue and Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke

refused to confirm the news, however, telling  Kicker: "The speculation surrounding Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will circle for as long as he plays here.

"We do not comment on that anymore."

Aubameyang has been in top form since joining the German outfit, he has scored 98 goals for the Dortmund.

Arsenal was one of his suitors but Wenger insisted a move for the Gabonese was "not a possibility" in recent week.
