Guardiola approaches Chelsea for their super star


Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has approached Chelsea for a possible signing of Chelsea super star, as the coach is keen to land a top quality forward to bolster his squad in order to be able to compete both domestically and in Europe.
 
The former Bayern Munich coach is keen to sign Eden Hazard as he set to bring the forward to Etihad this summer. 

Manchester City beat Brighton 2-0 on the south coast in their Premier League opener on Saturday.

 Guardiola is not satisfied with Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus leading his front-line for Manchester City, Guardiola wants more attacking options he is also monitoring the situation of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and Monaco Kylian Mbappe but it seems they are far from his reach.

Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Monaco's Kylian Mbappe have both been targeted but to no avail.

As a result, one potential option that has emerged as a topic of discussion at the Manchester club is Hazard.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Guardiola himself has already spoken to the Chelsea man's entourage.

Having made the approach, the City boss apparently believes signing Hazard would be a huge statement in the Premier League.

Guardiola has made his intention known to City's hierarchy he would like to target a move for Hazard, who is currently recovering from injury.

Hazard championed Chelsea to the Premier title last season, scoring 15 goals in the process. He has also attracted the interest of Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer.

Don Balon add it is now up to City to fulfil their orders to snatch the Belgium international from the champions.

Manchester City could get their target as the club continues to back Guardiola in the transfer market.

The Manchester club has already added the likes of Bernardo Silva, Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy to their ranks.
