Guardiola compares Man City with Barca and Bayern Munich

Pep Guardiola has compared Manchester City with Barcelona and Bayern Munich, the Spanish coach suggested that his current team is similar to the sides he managed in Spain and in Germany.

Guardiola was happy with his team attacking performance after scoring six goals in an encounter with Watford on Saturday in the Premier League.

Manchester City side has scored a total of 15 goals in three games on the average of two per game.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, Guardiola said: “I was lucky to stay at Barcelona and make outstanding performances – at Bayern too.

“Last season we were not able to play, but the team play – everybody was good.

“The results are important, three clean sheets, but it’s the way we played good with the build-up, short passes, a lot of energy from the full-backs to get up and down.

“The most important thing is to play good and then you win.”

Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick while Gabriel Jesus, Nicolas Otamendi and Raheem Sterling were also on the scoresheet.

The current Manchester City squad can challenge for trophies this season, with talented midfielders and attackers at disposal, they can pull the string to get the necessary result for the team.

City is currently top of the table, having taken 13 games from their five Premier League games so far, creating 69 chances in the process.

The next step for Guardiola will be to replicate what he did at Barcelona and Bayern and guide City to success this season.
