Manchester City Coach, Pep Guardiola has again refused to confirm trending reports that Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho is set for an exit from the Etihad to another club.
Having been given limited opportunity all season, reports are rife that Iheanacho will make a summer move but Guardiola chose to keep mum while addressing the press on Friday ahead of the final game of the season Manchester City slap £20m price tag on IheanachoAside
confirming the impending exit of Pablo Zabaleta, Guardiola was not drawn on discussing the futures of other members of the squad, keeping the focus firmly on City's remaining two games, with a trip to Watford following the West Brom match.
"Tuesday is the important thing," he said. "From next Sunday we will be focused and see what decisions we will take. For now
it’s so important to stay in the present. At the end of the season, we will speak about this.
"We are still playing for important things. We have two finals left and we have to focus on that."
Iheanacho is set to become the most surprising member of manager Pep Guardiola's summer clearout at the Etihad Stadium with the club willing to listen to offers for the 20-year-old Nigerian.
Southampton and Hoffenheim have reportedly enquired about loans but it is understood City are looking at permanent transfers.
