Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has sent a warning to Premier League rivals about the title race ahead of his team’s trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Wednesday night.
Guardiola is of the opinion that the title challenge could be determined by goal difference.
The manager said, "I'm pretty sure the winner will be the last fixture or the last two,' said Guardiola.

"The Premier League could go to goal difference, I agree. But we are not going to tell the guys they have to win 5-0.
"The first message is to win the game and the second one is, 'if you can score, score and if you can avoid conceding, do it'.
"Three or four days ago we were already done. The champions were Liverpool and now we can be leading.
"Now people say to me we are big contenders — champions. But still, we are three points behind. I would prefer to be in the position of Liverpool.
"Everything changes quickly. Nobody counted on us. Even I said seven points (gap) would be really tough for the confidence.
