Real Madrid former player Guti Hernandez wants the European Champions to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar in the summer, according to MARCA.

Real Madrid is set to face PSG in the second round of the Champions League on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Guti now Juvenil A coach believes that former Barcelona star should be a Los Blancos player and he was also of the opinion that Zinedine Zidane’s future should not be up for a debate.

That said, the Spaniard accepts that the prospect of him one-day taking charge of Los Blancos is too good to dismiss.

"This is the last chance for Real Madrid, but I hope there is sanity and that it isn't Zidane's last chance," Guti told El Chiringuito de Jugones on Monday night.

"We cannot forget what he has done.

"It is also PSG's last chance as it isn't worth winning Ligue 1 or the French Cup.

"Zidane must continue, but how can I not want to coach Real Madrid one day?"

Another plotline to consider as Wednesday's first leg kicks off is Madrid's rumoured pursuit of Neymar, which the ex-midfielder hopes doesn't lead to Cristiano Ronaldo's exit.

"I like Neymar, but if that means Ronaldo leaving, then no," he added.

"At Real Madrid, you have to be the best in the world and Neymar is. I think he is more motivated and I think he will continue to be so. He knows that he won't come to a better place.

"I think Neymar will go to Real Madrid. Who knows if [Karim] Benzema will be the one who goes to PSG. I think Ronaldo will continue here though."

Looking ahead to Les Parisiens' game with Real, Guti gave advice to Benzema on what could be a definitive night in the striker's career.

"It isn't the year to think about the Champions League, but they will try hard and surely they will be in the final," he continued. "Ronaldo has to be decisive, as he was last year when he led the team to the final.

"Benzema must forget about the fans' whistles. "Over 180 minutes, PSG are a great team. Surely it won't finish eleven against eleven."
