Two goals from £75 million summer acquisition, Gonzalo Higuain scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season to help1
defending champions; Juventus to a 3-1 win over neighbours, Torino, on Sunday. The Derby Della Mole was a raucous affair but was ultimately won by two goals from Higuain, who scored in both halves. Torino took the lead in the 16th minute through a fine header by Andrea Belotti from a Daniele Baselli cross. Exiled Manchester City goalkeeper, Joe Hart produced a sensational reaction save to deny Higuain on 18 minutes and then Mario Mandzukic from close range as Croat reacted first to a Sami Khedira miss-hit. Higuain scored the equaliser on 28 minutes after he controlled a long punt from Giorgio Chiellini and thumped his shot past Hart. That was on 82 minutes and Miralem Pjanic added the third in injury time after gobbling up the rebound from his own shot that was parried by Hart. Juventus with the three points have put seven points between themselves and Roma, who have a difficult match against AC Milan on Monday.
