Amuneke has some interesting choice of artists on his playlist which includes Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, Olumide and Phyno.

“Well as a young guy I used to love rap music. I loved rap, a lot of r&b, in the era of Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Boyz II Men,” he told beats and rhymesfc.com.

“During my young days, I loved that music, but of course as one progresses, as age comes and one has a lot of responsibility, you start to change a little your lifestyle and what you are listening to.”

He continued: “I think music and sport have always gone hand in hand. They are both motivating the young ones and music for me is part of life.

“Music says a lot of things and you can use music to bring a whole lot of countries together. You can interpret it in different ways and it can change people’s mindset.

“Recently, there’s a lot of music that I like. I mostly like listening to pop music and I like Coldplay.

“A lot of Nigerian artists, of course: we have Wizkid, we have Phyno, and we have Olamide. A lot of them, young ones coming up.

“I love good music and back home in Nigeria, I’m happy that the music industry has transformed and they have been able to set a standard and take their talents beyond Africa. I think it’s good for Africa and for the young ones that they are growing and inspiring a lot of people.”
