Jose Mourinho has confirmed Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return for the Peemier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to return to the Manchester United starting eleven this weekend when they host Liverpool after missing out on the EFL Cup semifinal defeat of Hull City on Tuesday.
The 35-year was absent through illness as United went past Hull 2-0 in the semifinal first leg at Old Trafford.
And United boss José Mourinho has confirmed the Swede will be available for selection when Liverpool come calling.Read also: Man United boss Mourinho hits out Juan Mata, others
"Zlatan is ill so I think no problem, I think he will be fine," said mourinho.
The Red Devils are home to their fierce rivals on Sunday, as they bid to make 10 straight wins in all competitions.
Also missing from the win over Hull was defender Marcos Rojo, who limped out of the FA Cup win over Reading on Saturday.
However, Mourinho isn't certain whether the Argentine will return for the Liverpool clash.
"Marcos has a muscular problem, not big. I'm not saying he's not ready to play, I'm saying that I have my doubts," he added.
Chris Smalling paired Phil Jones at the heart of United’s defense n Tuesday night as goals from Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini earned the Red Devils the advantage going into the return leg.
