Ibrahimovic snubbed in Sweden's provisional World Cup squad

Sweden has announced his preliminary squad for this summer's World Cup as LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimović miss out.

Manager Janne Andersson has called on six British bases players including Manchester United center-back Victor Lindelof and Swansea City left-back Martin Olsson have made the cut for the 23-man roster.

Pontus Jansson of Leeds United and his fellow Championship player, Sebastian Larsson of Hull City, were also named in the squad.

Andersson has until June 4 to name his final squad for the World Cup, which gets underway on June 14.

Sweden have been drawn in Group F against Germany, Mexico and South Korea.
