Odion Ighalo has scored his 10th goal of the season for Chinese club Changchun Yatai.
Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has continued to make a big case for his recall to the Super Eagles after he fired his tenth goal in the Chinese Super League today.
Ighalo’s Changchun Yatai were losing at home to bottom of the league club till the Nigeria international pulled the trigger four minutes from time to save them their blushes.
The former Watford star is now the eighth leading scorer in the Chinese league ahead of the likes of Hulk of Brazil and Senegal’s Pape Cisse.Read also: Nigeria's on loan Liverpool striker opens account
He has made 20 appearances, meaning he now averages a goal every other game.
But he is still 13 goals shy of the top scorer in the league.
His club are now 10th on the 16-team table with 26 points from 21 matches.
