Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi off to Spain with Leicester City teammate as they prepare for next weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final with Chelsea.

The dethroned Premier League Champions are flying out to a warm-weather training camp near Marbella to prepare for their biggest game of the season with eight games to go in the league and Foxes are chasing for Europa League qualification spot.

Leicester City come from behind to whipped West Brom 4-1 on Saturday which kept them in touch with Burnley, who are seventh and enjoyed another victory at West Ham United.

Claude Puel said the trip would ensure they were ready for the challenges ahead.

"It’s a good opportunity for the squad to spend some time together and to make sure we are well prepared both for next weekend’s game and for the final eight Premier League matches of the season,” said Puel to the club official website.

"We want to finish the season in the best way possible and good preparation together is very important to give us the best chance.

"It’s a long season, which can be difficult for the body and the mind, so I think a different setting, some time together as a squad and a good focus on our work will be good for everybody.

"There is a good for the spirit of the group. Hopefully with some warmer weather.

"We have excellent staff that have prepared everything for the trip very well.

"If we are to make sure we use the trip to be ready for the final games, it’s important to get the balance right between hard work on the training pitch and the correct levels of rest and recovery.”

Chelsea are also in Spain this week but they have the little matter of a Champions League clash with Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
