Consequently, tCity's trip to the Riverside Stadium to take on Middlesbrough has been rearranged and will now kick off at 2.05pm on Sunday, April 30.

As Opta has recorded, it is the first Thursday night derby clash between the teams in 23 years. The last time the Manchester derby was played on a Thursday was in 1994 and United beat Manchester City 5-0 in November 1994.

While many waits to see if Iheanacho will get a role in the April 27 clash, it will be recalled that he was the star man in the reverse fixture;  providing an assist and also scoring a goal at Old Trafford.
