FA Cup: Vardy sends Super Eagles duo to quarter-final

Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed his dream of scoring in the English FA Cup final for Leicester City.

The 21-year old played for 90 minutes as the Foxes outfoxed Sheffield United 1-0 in the fourth round of the competition on Friday, and Iheanacho has now revealed his dream of scoring a goal in the final, if they get that far.

Iheanacho has already made history in the glamorous cup competition by becoming the first player to be used as a fourth substitute in England last season and this season he was the first player whose goal was awarded by the VAR.

“I’m happy to be part of the cup history. I will now hope to score in the FA Cup final if we got there and I hope we get there,” Iheanacho said.

“This competition is so special to the fans.

“And my middle name is ‘Promise’ and I hope my name will affect me.”

This season, he has scored four goals in three starts in the cup.
