Nigerian star, Kelechi Iheanacho is desperately wanted by fans of another Premier League club.
A prophet; they say is not usually reckoned with in his home town and that popular saying perfectly suits the situation of Super Eagles forward.
It is understood that fans of English Premiership side West Bromwich Albion have urged manager Tony Pulis to make a bid for Iheanacho, who could depart the Etihad outfit in the summer.
Iheanacho has struggled to get playing time especially since the arrival of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus in January , and he could be leave the team in search of regular games when the transfer window opens in the summer.
West Brom who have a history with Nigerian strikers like Brown Ideye and Osaze Odemwingie are on the look out for a forward in the summer transfer window.
That need became more pronounced following the departure of Saido Berahino to Stoke City in January, and fans of the team conducted a poll on if Iheanacho should be signed by the manager in the summer.
The pool which was conducted on Twitter saw 82% of the fans voting for Iheanacho to be signed, while 8 % said no to his signing. 12% of the fans were however indecisive over his coming to the team will benefit them.
It is yet to be seen if first City will sanction the exit of Iheanacho who many agree have huge potentials to be one of the best in the world or whether the Baggies will be able to match the huge transfer fee that will be requested if City decide to allow their Nigerian import leave.
