Ex-Man United star slams Wilshere, but why?

Reports from England have it that next season's Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers are prepared to pay out of contract Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere huge wages to lure him away from North London.

According to a report in the Telegraph, Wolverhampton Wanderers are prepared to offer Wilshere who could become a free agent this summer more than £110,000-a-week.

Wolves are battling with Everton for the midfielder, who also has a contract offer on the table to stay at Arsenal.

The Gunners are said to be increasingly confident that they can keep their man who before his injury spells was once touted as the club's future captain.

Arsenal are believed to have upped their contract offer for the England international to £110,000-a-week as they look to keep hold of the aggressive midfielder. However, the Telegraph claim that a move to Wolves who have the ill Ikeme on their payroll would be even more lucrative for Wilshere.

The England international is one of Nuno’s main targets for the summer, and Wolves are prepared to make him their top earner by a considerable distance.
