Antonio Conte is facing a growing injury list ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup semifinal with Tottenham Hotspur Saturday, according to reports.

Chelsea is being hit by injuries ahead of the game against Tottenham in the FA Cup semifinal on Saturday.it is an important game for the Blues because it will help to boast the morale of the team for the remaining fixtures in the premier league. Any set back might have significant setback on the team performance considering the fact they have lost two games in 4 matches

According to reports the fitness of the goal keeper Thiabout Courtois, who missed the game against Manchester united on Sunday with an ankle injury is doubtful for the match, while Marcos Alonso was ruled out through illness.

Gary Cahill, named in the PFA Team of the Year on Thursday, is the latest injury doubt at Stamford Bridge after the Chelsea center-back reportedly spent two nights in hospital this week due to a virus.

It is unconfirmed whether the virus is the same one that kept Alonso out of the 2-0 defeat to Jose Mourinho’s United last weekend. Striker Diego Costa is also said to have been affected by the illness.

Club captain John Terry could be set for a return to the starting lineup at Wembley on Saturday just five days after announcing he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

Terry, 36, has been at the west London club for more than two decades and has become the most decorated player in Chelsea history.

He has featured in just 10 of the 39 games Antonio Conte’s team has played this campaign, with his last Premier League appearance coming in November.

 Conte facing the hard times of the season at the end of the season with growing injury concerns as he prepares for the challenges yet to come.
