Nigeria Youth International, Sadiq Umar is pulling his weight in the pre season as he scored again for AS Roma; this time in the International Champions Cup.

Umar scored against Paris Saint-Germain but the Parisians, however, got the better of Roma on penalties, winning the shootout 5-3 after the teams played to a 1-1 draw in the International Champions Cup at Comerica Park on Wednesday.

The Nigeria U-23 star got on the scorer's sheet when attacking midfielder Gerson dinked a beautiful chip over the top of the PSG defense into his path and he coolly slotted his finish between Alphonse Areola's legs.

Before Wednesday's outing, Umar found the back of the net for his Italian Serie A side in a 1-0 win over Slovacko in a pre-season friendly.

It is understood that the newly appointed coach of Roma Eusebio di Francesco is impressed with Umar so far.
