Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi is reportedly keen to play under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
Real Madrid have
been credited with an interest in the striker, and are supposedly looking to replace Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu as the Los Blancos first choice is Tottenham hitman Harry Kane, but Icardi is high on European Champions’ wish list.
According to Don Balon claims that Argentina forward does not wish to abandon the project at the San Siro, with Inter third in Serie A and pushing for the title once again but the striker is eyeing a future move to United as he wants to be managed by Mourinho.
Red Devils spent £75m on Romelu Lukaku during the summer and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's future at Old Trafford is far from secure as Europa and EFL holders have been linked with a several attacking of players in recent months.
Icardi, who is contracted to Inter until the summer of 2021, has scored 17 Serie A goals in 19 appearances for his San Siro outfit during the 2017-18 campaign.
