Joachim Low reacts to Lopetegui's sack on the eve of W/Cup

Germany coach Joachim Low has reacted to the sacking of Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui on the eve of the World Cup, according to Marca.

Joachim Low believes that the dismissal of the Lopetegui will create unrest in the in the team.

The Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales was in FIFA congress in Moscow to handle the situation, despite the players protest he went on to make his decision by sacking the former Real Madrid and Barcelona goalkeeper that has left the nation in shock.

He was immediately replaced by former Real Madrid captain Fernando Hierro.

"This surely creates unnecessary unrest within the federation and the team," Low explained when asked about the situation.

"It's totally unexpected, it's incredible that a decision like this is made just before the team's first match.

"The Spanish probably won't lose any of the class or strength in that match, they are generally a well-bonded team." 

La Roja begin their campaign against Portugal on Friday night.
