Juventus vs Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur travels to Italy to face Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday night.

Both sides come into the clash in buoyant form, with Spurs boosted by a derby victory over Arsenal at Wembley over the weekend.

Spurs reached the knockout stage by topping Group H, which included Borussia Dortmund and holders Real Madrid while Juventus finished second behind Barcelona in Group D.

The Old Lady have made the Champions League Final in two of the last three seasons, but both times came up short against Spanish opposition as Barcelona and Real Madrid beat them.

This season they will be much more confident about their chances against the La Liga giants, but first, they have to make it to the final in Kiev.

Team News

Juventus, Argentine talisman Paulo Dybala is a doubt for the game while Andrea Barzagli, Benedikt Howedes, Blaise Matuidi and Juan Cuadrado have all been ruled out.

Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld is unavailable but otherwise, Premier League outfit have no major injury worries.

Juventus and Tottenham have both won one and lost one of their two previous meetings, although both were friendly fixtures.
