The 22-year-old Nigeria international who had hand in both three-time Africa Champions two goals score courtesy of Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo and before Osimhen opened his account for the senior national team from the spot in the 33rd minute to make it two-nil.

The trio where playing altogether for the first time in Super Eagles match and Kalu says he enjoyed and believes would be hard for opponents to stop.

Bordeaux forward said via OwnGoal: "I had fun playing with them because we complement each other. It’s the same with anybody that is selected by the coach. Teams will find it hard to stop us if we continue playing as we did in the first half.

The Nigeria attack contrived to waste several goalscoring opportunities in the encounter allowing the Yellow Men to stage a successful comeback, a situation Kalu agrees must be improved on in future matches.

"Osimhen is never tired of running and Chukwueze can equally run and create space like me. Maybe we need to add goals to our combination for it to be more effective. We keep learning”, the former Gent star added.

Super Eagles next game is a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin in November.
