David Luiz reveals why he left Chelsea for Arsenal
Lampard will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation, it has been his ideal formation during the preseason and from all point of view, it seems the former Chelsea midfielder will stick to the same formation against Manchester United.
Kepa Arrizabalaga will maintain his spot as the goalkeeper of the team, Antonio Rudiger is out due to injury and David Luiz has left for Arsenal which means Chelsea will go for the partnership of Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma, who is back after a successful loan spell at Everton. Cesar Azpilicueta is the obvious pick at right-back for Lampard, while Emerson Palmieri is likely to pip Marcos Alonso at left-back.
Jorginho and Kante will be the two holding midfielders and above them is Pedro, Ross Barkley and Pulisic in the attacking midfield position while Tammy Abraham will be the number nine as a lone striker.
