Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is set to step on the pitch again for Los Blancos against Getafe having spent some weeks on the sideline due to a hamstring injury he picked against Levante.
Benzema is expected to get some minutes against Getafe at Coliseum Alfonso Perez , thereby moving Ronaldo to his preferred position rather than the central forward role which made him look quite uncomfortable in recent games.
The partnership between Ronaldo and Benzema has favoured the Portuguese a lot and it will be interesting to see if the French striker presence will help the reigning world best footballer get on the scorer sheet.
Marcelo and Theo Hernandez are also back from their respective injuries to help Real Madrid challenge for titles.
Real Madrid will keep an eye on the Champions League against Tottenham Hotspur at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday so Zinedine Zidane might make some rotations to the squad in a bid to remain fresh and fit to challenge in all competitions this season.
