Struggling LaLiga club Las Palmas have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Imoh Ezekiel.
The 24-year old signed the dotted lines for Las Palmas on Friday on a free, and signed for the next one and a half years.
Ezekiel, who arrived as a free agent, had signed with Las Palmas earlier on Friday but the club did not immediately confirm the deal, before doing so much later.
“Nigerian striker Imoh Ezekiel will be a UD Las Palmas player until June 2019 and will occupy wear the number 14 jersey,” Las Palmas announced on their official website on Friday night.
“The international Olympic footballer with Nigeria in Brazil was without a contract after separating from his previous club Konyaspor.”
Ezekiel had been a free agent since December after he left Konyaspor over unpaid wages.
He becomes the third Nigerian international player at Las Palmas after Oghenekaro Etebo and Emmanuel Emenike joined the club before the close of the January transfer window.
