Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has sacked his agent and employed a new caretaker Pini Zahavi amid Real Madrid.
Lewandowski employed Zahavi as his new agent and the rumours linking him away from Bayern Munich continue to persist.
The Polish forward has been in scintillating form scoring 20 goals in the Bundesliga, and he currently the highest goal scorer in the German League so far.
Real Madrid want
to offload Karim Benzema and the former Borussia Dortmund striker is seen as an ideal replacement for the Frenchman.
Lewandowski has refuted such speculations about his future and went on to appoint new agent Zahavi who was responsible for Neymar’s move to PSG from Barcelona in a world record fee last season.
"I am glad that Robert decided to cooperate with me," "I will do everything to work well in his name.
"He is a great footballer. He is the best striker in the world. Therefore, it is not surprising that I have signals about the interest of his person in all major clubs."
Zahavi would not be drawn on the reported interest from Madrid in Lewandowski, however.
"Will Robert go to Real Madrid?" Lewandowski's new agent added
"We'll see. Now it's time for me to do my job." Zahavi told Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy.
The striker grabbed a brace in the Champions League against Besiktas in the 5-0 win over the Turkish outfit on Tuesday.
