Lyon vs Guingamp

Lyon have started the season in predictably strong form and look capable of going close to qualifying for the Champions League places in Ligue 1 this season, but they will expect a tough test when Guingamp visit this weekend.

Lyon opened the campaign with a thumping 4-0 victory against division new boys Strasbourg, who have just been promoted from Ligue 2, and have since followed that up with another win, this time over Rennes, before drawing with Bordeaux and Nantes ahead of the international break.

Guingamp however are a confident side themselves and surprised many pundits with their performance last season. They have managed two victories so far, which have book-ended losses against Nice and PSG, losses which were not at all unexpected.
